Youth held for snatch theft

KUALA TERENGGANU: An 18-year-old unemployed youth was arrested three hours after he snatched the handbag of a 19-year-old girl here on Sunday morning. The girl was riding her motorcycle towards Pasar Payang around 9am when the youth, also on a motorcycle, tailed her before grabbing her handbag from the basket.
The suspect was arrested at his house in Lorong Tiga, Jalan Pulau Kambing, following a tip-off. The handbag was recovered at the house.
