Wrath of a spurned son
KUALA TERENGGANU: A woman was forced to flee all the way to Kuala Lumpur simply because she refused to lend her son RM100.
The 46-year-old woman who left her home in Marang on Jan 12 after constant threats by her son, later found out that he had sold most of her belongings in the house.
The son continued to harass and verbally abuse her via telephone calls. The woman lodged a police report yesterday after the son threatened to kill her.
State deputy CID chief Supt Khairi Ahrasa confirmed the report and said police were investigating the case for criminal intimidation and theft.
