2009/02/26
KUALA TERENGGANU: The state Education Department is keeping mum over the case of two female students who were allegedly slapped by their disciplinary teacher last Thursday. However, the New Straits Times has learnt that the department will be meeting both sides to discuss the incident.
In the incident on Feb 19, two Form Three students claimed that the teacher had slapped them because they had lied to him about bringing their handphones to class.
The teacher later challenged them to lodge a police report and take the matter to the press.
