Civil servant loses RM17,650

Kuala Terengganu: A 44 years old civil servant lost RM17, 650 after he forgot to lock the main door of his house when he went for his Friday prayers.

State CID Chief, ACP Mohd. Fauzi Abduri said the victim who works with the Islamic Department also lost his authority card. ACP Mohd Fauzi said the incident happened at the victim’s house at Persiaran Limbongan, Jalan Bukit Keluang, Besut.

He said the victim’s wife and son were preparing lunch in the kitchen when the incident occurred.

ACP Mohd Fauzi said the victim found a bag containing jewellry, a watch, about RM500 cash and documents missing when he returned from the mosque.
